We all were with Mrs Guignard (the most amazing teacher I have ever had), Mr Monod (who said some jokes that weren’t funny) and Mrs Gogniat (who is cool and cheerful). We all flew for 1.30 hour and landed in Gatwick. Then we took the train straight to Brighton. We stayed in a Bed & Breakfast called «Smart Sea View»: it was cheap and good. Our class left the hostel and went to the beach. Some boys swam in the sea, but it was bitterly cold!! Then my amazing class discovered the British Airways 360: It allowed us to see the whole city from above. The view was amazing, we drank an apple juice and were real tourists, lol! Then we did the Black Cat Walk and discovered the North Lanes. This part of Brighton is made of parallel streets. We can find a lot of second-hand shops and restaurants. The architecture is incredible! We had to be careful when crossing roads the first day because cars don’t drive on the same side of the road in England!! After that, we ate burgers and chips in a little restaurant. I discovered a delicious drink: the OA2 (soda and orange juice). Then we went back to the hostel.

On Tuesday morning, we studied at home and then we visited The Royal Pavilion (the students didn’t like it!). We were supposed to listen to its history with audio guides in English but the staff made a mistake and they were all in French. Mrs Guignard was so disappointed. We couldn’t take pictures but if you’ve gone through our videos, you can see we took some anyway… Ask Mr Gogniat ;-)! After that, Mrs Guignard gave us some money so we could go and eat wherever we wanted. We ate like princes and princesses. We were so happy! After that, we went to an Escape Game. There were three groups (one teacher in each group). We were not that good but two groups managed to finish it in less than one hour! Then we ate at Jamie Oliver’s, one of England’s most famous restaurants! Then we enjoyed a Ghost Walk in the South Lanes: it was nice and terrifying at the same time!

On Wednesday, we visited the Seven Sisters. It was sunny but very windy! We walked there and were amazed by the view!! On Wednesday evening (just before the restaurant), the boys bought an arrow. They played in the hostel when we came back and the manager had to come because they laughed too loudly! We ate at «Las Iguanas», a Mexican restaurant. It was delicious! I was in Brazil again, it was perfect! That night, while the boys were playing with the plastic arrow, we spoke with the girls and we became closer to each other, it was nice!

On Thursday, we did a treasure hunt walk again, but in the South Lanes. This place is called the maze, because of its narrow and round streets. They are a lot of Antique shops et boutiques and a lot of small cafés. We had to speak English a lot. At the end of the walk, I spoke with two boys and we discovered that they go to the same church as mine (it is international). We bought some donuts: it was good! After that, we went to the beach to try a Fish & Chips. I think it was the best moment of the trip! We spoke and laughed a lot! We then had free time to go shopping. At night, we went to a karaoke, we had two rooms and switched places from time to time. At the end, we ate at Pizza Hut. Thursday was the best day of the week.

ON Friday, we just left the hostel et left the UK after this amazing trip. I just want to thank the teachers for that trip. It was lovely and a very nice week. If you don’t know what the Seven Sisters, 360 Flight, Jamie Oliver’s or the Royal Pavilion are, you can discover them on the Magic College… We made some videos about them!

Our school trip took place from 8th to 12th April 2019.
